Help Us Save The Animals

Creating a better life for New Zealand’s animals is Lizzy and Izzy’s mission, but creating better lives is only possible with the help and support of generous people in communities around our country.

Saving Hope Foundation

The Saving Hope Foundation is a fully registered Charitable Trust set up in July 2017. It is a dog rescue and rehabilitation organisation whose rescue operation is experiencing exponential growth that won’t stop anytime soon because of the huge demand and need for its services. Since its commencement Saving Hope has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed well over 1,000 dogs and puppies and the number keeps growing daily.

Together, we help the animals that so desperately need it, and bring justice to those who have failed these innocent animals. Our inspectors work to uphold the laws relating to the treatment of animals and bring prosecutions where necessary. At our animal centres we give sanctuary to animals in distress and re-home suitable animals whenever possible.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world.

Our organization was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans and must be protected under the law. Headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, and with programs that extend our anti-cruelty mission across the country, we are recognized as a national animal welfare organization. We are a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and are proud to boast more than 2 million supporters across the country.

Our story

My Story by Izzy

Why does Izzy want to save animals? Because I am a kind person and I love animals, if I was a elephant I would rather live and not die because humans want my tusks to sell for a lot of money. It is so sad when an animals dies it’s almost like having your closest family member die. I would rather die from starvation than kill a animal to eat. I love animals so much and I hope you too like animals and want to help us with saving animals so please join our side and help us. If you would want to help then you could be a foster parent a foster parent is a person who takes in sick animals and makes the animals all better and healthy then they wait until they are ten weeks old and they get put up for adoption and they get taken to a forever home where they spend the rest of their life day when we were at our school we were told to do a passion project and me and Lizzy did our passion project on animals why? You may ask, I am very passionate about animals because I was just born like that. I love them and I would die for an animal. Why is Lizzy doing it with you then? Because she is my best friend and she also knows facts and loves animals like me. So join our side and HELP SAVE THE ANIMALS!

From Lizzy

It is important to save animals because we are nothing without them. We humans, animals, plants, microbes and other abiotic and biotic components are parts of ecosystem and this planet. All are interdependent on each other and extinction of any of them effects everyone.
